Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has revealed Sina-Male' Bridge will officially be opened for public on September 7.
Several activities are planned until September 5, following the official opening of the bridge, Housing Minister Mohamed Muizzu said speaking at a press conference held to reveal information about the bridge opening ceremony and following activities.
In this regard, the housing minister stated 5 couples will be wedded on the bridge on August 31 between 1600hrs and 2100hrs, adding the bridge will be opened until 2300hrs that day. Moreover, Minister Muizzu said bridge tolling information will be announced as soon as relevant authorities make a decision assuring to arrange easier means when collecting fees.
The government will officially inaugurate the bridge on August 30.
