PPM asks disciplinary committee to expel MP Fazad

Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) has requested its disciplinary committee to expel the parliamentarian Ali Fazad from the party.
Speaking at a press conference, Parliamentary Group Leader Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik said a request was made to the disciplinary committee followed by actions against rules and regulations of the party from Fazad. Further, Nihan said the request was made as Fazad began attending opposition campaign activities, highlighting Fazad was reminded of the rules and regulations of the party on various occasions.
Moreover, Nihan revealed the party has also requested the disciplinary committee to send a letter to Elections Commission of Maldives to expel Fazad from the parliament as well.
