Foreign Minister sends Independence Day greetings to Macedonia

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Asim has sent greetings to Minister for Foreign Affairs of Macedonia Nikola Dimitrov, on the occasion of its Independence Day.
In his message, Foreign Minister Asim said he is pleased to extend warm greetings and good wishes to the government and the people, the occasion of the Independence Day of Macedonia. The foreign minister added he looks forward to working with his Macedonian counterpart to further strengthen and expand bilateral relations between the two countries.
Since 1991, Independence Day of Macedonia is marked on September 8 to commemorating the day Macedonia gained its independence from Yugoslavia.
