A large number of citizens from Maduvvari in Meemu Atoll joins the ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM). The membership forms of the new members were collected by First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim during her trip to Meemu Atoll as part of her nationwide social campaign.
During the trip, the first lady visited the least populated island in the atoll, Raiymandhoo, and met with the people with special needs and other citizens. During the meetings, the citizens extended their well-wishes and passed on their complaints and needs to the first lady.
As part of her social campaign, the first lady has visited a number of islands and met with many citizens on various occasions. It is notable that all islands receive the first lady with a warm welcome.
