First Lady of Maldives Fathimath Ibrahim has commenced a trip to Kaafu Atoll as part of her nationwide social campaign. As part of the trip, First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim arrived in Dhiffushi where she was warmly welcomed by the citizens of the island. Following her trip to Dhiffushi, the first lady arrived in Thulusdhoo.
During the trip, the first lady will participate in campaign activities to gain support for President Abdulla Abdulla Yameen Gayoom in the upcoming presidential election. As part of her visit to the islands, she will met the elderly citizens, people with special needs and the citizens of all islands. The nationwide social campaign initiated by the first lady is aimed to closely monitor the lives of people with special needs and the elderly citizens and to ensure their basic needs are fulfilled.
The first lady embarked on a visit to Kaafu Atoll after concluding her visit to Laamu Atoll.
