Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) has raised concern as some members of the Election Commission have travelled abroad in the wake of several complaints regarding the presidential election.
Speaking at a press conference, Parliamentarian Ali Arif said actions and behaviours of some commission members raise further concerns regarding the credibility of the election results. In addition, Ali Arif expressed people are troubled as Elections Commission has closed the Complaints Bureau opened to submit concerns regarding the election.
PPM submitted several complaints regarding the presidential election held on September 23 seeking answers from the electoral body of Maldives.
