MDP advises caution against acts of corruption

Spokesperson of the President-Elect Mariya Ahmed Didi has stated the opposition coalition continues to receive complaints alleging corruption in the sale of land plots by Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure.

Addressing the daily press conference by Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), Mariya applauded the employees from the ministry who acted as whistle blowers by allegedly filing a case with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The spokesperson said such individuals stand proof to the fact the general public is against such acts of corruption in the country. She advised caution against supporting corrupt actions.
