Transition Committee has met with the administrative staff of the parliament. The discussion meeting was attended by Deputy Speaker of Parliament Moosa Manik, Chairman of Transition Committee Abdulla Shahid, Director General of Transition Ahmed Latheef and Chairperson of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) Hassan Latheef.
During the meeting, the transition committee focused the discussions on the swearing-in ceremony of President-Elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. While discussions were held regarding the swearing-in ceremony, MDP has earlier revealed the ceremony will be held at the national football ground and would be opened for the public.
Meanwhile, the senior delegates from foreign countries have been invited to attend the ceremony.
