Qasim Ibrahim has been elected as the leader of Jumhooree Party.
Qasim Ibrahim was elected to the post at a council meeting held to elect the leader of the party. He was elected to a five-year term with 61 members voting unanimously in favour.
Jumhooree Party elected its leader at council meeting as no candidates contested for the post in the party congress held last August.
