Oman Air resumes service to the Maldives

The national carrier of Oman, Oman Air has resumed operations between Muscat and Male' City. The new Boeing 737 MAX Aircraft would be utilised in operations between Muscat and Male' City, Oman Air revealed.

Oman Air flights from Muscat to Male' will operate on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and the flights from Male' to Muscat will operate on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The new MAX aircraft will be equipped with 12 new business class seats with large 17-inch touchscreen monitors and all the amenities needed for a frequent flyer such as individual power and USB points. By the end of 2018, Oman Air will have taken delivery of five new MAX aircraft and three 787-9s.

Speaking regarding the commencement of fights to Maldives, Chief Commercial Officer of Oman Air said special packages will also be introduced.

Oman Air is working to enhance their fleet size to be around 70, by 2022.
