MTCC to stop some of its operations

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has decided to stop most of its ferry operations across Male' region.

The company has decided to completely cease operation of ferry services between Male' and Hulhumale' and Male' and Hulhule' as the demand for the service has decreased, according to MTCC. The company noted ferry services and express speed boat services between Male' and Hulhumale' will be completely ceased from Monday. In addition, MTCC has decided to stop the express speed boat services to Male' and Hulhule' from Monday.

Even though the express speed boat service is stopped, the premium ferry service between Male' and Hulhumale' will continue, according to MTCC.
