135 cases registered at ACC in 3rd quarter of 2018

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has revealed 135 cases were registered at the institution during the third quarter of the year. 539 cases were registered during the first nine months of the year, out of which 135 cases were registered during the third quarter, according to the recent statistics published by ACC.

During 2017, ACC said 167 cases were registered in the third quarter. Meanwhile, ACC investigated 103 cases in the third quarter, compared to the 142 cases investigated in the same period of last year.

Moreover, ACC stated it has been responsibly sending out cases which falls under the mandates of other authorities, with 8 cases sent out in third quarter. Furthermore, during the period, ACC revealed 22 cases were rejected due to lack of information and documentation.
