Minister of Defence and National Security Adam Shareef Umar has stated justice is delayed for murder cases due to the increased amount of corruption and influence of power.
In a Facebook post, Defence Minister Adam Shareef Umar said corruption is not only a betrayal but it also delays prevailing justice for the victims. The minister described not sharing information on murder cases and other criminal offences to investigative authorities as cowardly and irresponsible.
Furthermore, he noted information were shared with authorities, solving cases would be much easier.
