PPM questions who really leads the coalition

Deputy Leader of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) criticises the opposition coalition for the way it functions, saying it is unclear who the elected president is.

Speaking at a press conference, Deputy Leader of the ruling party Abdul Raheem Abdulla said even though Ibrahim Mohamed Solih was elected as the president, it is unclear who will be governing with multiple coalition leaders expressing their views on governance and policies. He also criticised former President Mohamed Nasheed for making pledges during his recent trip to Addu City. He said it was unacceptable and shows Maldives is in for a troubled future.

During the press conference, he reiterated the claims that the presidential election was rigged.
