DJA launches probe into leaked courtroom pictures

Department of Judicial Administration (DJA) has revealed investigations are ongoing regarding the pictures circulated in social media, said to be taken in a courtroom.

In a statement, DJA revealed it is prohibited to take any pictures or videos inside a courtroom without permission, describing the act as mocking the judiciary. Investigations are now underway and action will be taken against the responsible individuals, assured DJA.

On conclusion, DJA advised to respect and to refrain from acts that defame the courts of law.
