Special Envoy of the Chinese President, Minister of Culture and Tourism, Luo Shugang has paid a courtesy call on President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
During the call held at the President’s Office, President Solih welcomed Luo Shugang to the Maldives and conveyed good wishes to the President of China. Noting the Maldives values the historical and brotherly relations with China, President Solih underscored the contributions made by China to the development of Maldives over the years. The president further expressed his confidence for continued cooperation between the two countries in the future.
At the meeting, the Special Envoy of the Chinese President assured President Solih of China’s commitment to further strengthening the close bilateral relations.
