Former President Mohamed Nasheed has underscored any development brought to sports is an advancement brought to the country, as many lessons related to the development of the country are learnt during sports.
Speaking to PSM News during the sports festival, former President Mohamed Nasheed said the most important lesson learnt during sports is working harder to win and accepting defeat gracefully, adding it is the most important moral behind developing a country. Speaking on the importance of including sports in all aspects of the country, Nasheed revealed such lessons are directly linked to the nation’s development.
Similar to other leaders who attended the sports festival, he participated in the activities held during the festival.
