First Lady advises to always strive to make a difference in the world

Chief Guide of Maldives, First Lady Fazna Ahmed, has advised to always strive to make a difference in the world. She made the remark while speaking at the inauguration of the 20th National Patrol Leaders Training Camp held at the Educational Training Centre for Children, in Maafushi in Kaafu Atoll.

In her speech, the first lady expressed her confidence that the participants will acquire numerous life skills through the camp. She also encouraged the participants to always reflect on one’s deeds.

On arrival at the ceremony, a Guard of Honour was offered to the first lady, followed by which, she hoisted the camp’s flag. The first lady also toured the sub camps and viewed the art display put up by the participants, under the theme 16 Days of Activism.

The National Patrol Leaders Training Camp is an annual event organised by the Maldives Girl Guide Association.
