Deputy Director General of Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation Mohamed Rafeeu has revealed the new bus stops established in Male' and Hulhumale' will be launched this weekend.
Speaking at a press conference held to reveal information on the efforts to enhance the transportation service, Rafeeu highlighted people should leave the bus upon entrance to Hulhumale', adding a neighbourhood bus should be taken for transportation within Hulhumale'. However, Rafeeu said with the new bus stops in Male' and Hulhumale', easier arrangements will be made for people using the public transportation system.
The government has pledged to make major changes for transportation system in the first 100 days. Under the efforts, the transport ministry has decided to allocate more bus stops in Male' and Hulhumale' which will be launched in the weekend. However, the transport ministry did not reveal any changes in prices even with the changes.
