Maldives has received the Best Country Award of South Asian Youth Summit (SAYS) 2018 for the second consecutive year. The award was received by the Minister of Youth, Sports and Social Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof.
The Maldives was represented by Regional Alliance for Youth Fostering (RAFY). Speaking to PSM News, General Secretary of RAFY Mamdhooha stated Maldives received several other awards such as the Inspirational Award and World Global Award.
SAYS organised by International Youth Community focuses on discussions related to challenges faced for South Asian youth and empowering youth.
