President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Fathimath Amira to Civil Service Commission of the Maldives. Her oath of office was administered by Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef, during a ceremony held at the President’s Office.
Fathimath Amira was appointed to Civil Service Commission following a vote in the Parliament, with 70 parliamentarians voting in favour of the appointment.
Having attained higher education from Australia and UK, Amira has been noted for her efforts in the education sector of Maldives. She was filling the position of a Director General in Ministry of Education before she was appointed to Civil Service Commission.
