Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali has held discussions on issues faced for the religion institutions in Maldives.
The discussions were held with members of religious institutions working to enhance Islamic knowledge and Islamic presence in the country. During the meeting, the Islamic minister inquired about the efforts and challenges of such institutions and encouraged to continue their efforts. Moreover, the minster stated collective efforts of the institutions are crucial to sustainably continue the efforts.
The organisations which attended the meeting include Peace Foundation, Mahaldheeb Foundation and Jamiyyatul Salaf.
