Vice President Faisal Naseem has visited people with disabilities, residing in Malé and Hulhumalé, as part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2018 activities.
During his visit, the vice president enquired from them and their families, about the challenges being faced. He was accompanied by Minister of Gender, Family and Social Services Shidhatha Shareef.
During the visit to households, the vice president inquired about the living standards and challenges faced in day to day life. Moreover, he also asked for opinion on how to improve the opportunities for persons with disabilities.
