President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed 3 state ministers and 5 appointments at deputy minister level.
The State Ministers appointed are Dr. Abdulla Rasheed Ahmed as Minister of State for Education, Mohamed Hashim as Minister of State for Higher Education and Dr. Abdulla Naseer as Minister of State for Environment.
The five appointments made at the level of deputy minister are Zuhurulla Siyaad as Deputy Minister of Housing and Urban Development., Mohamed Azim as Deputy Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Mohamed Azmeel as Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, Mohamed Khaalis Shareef as Deputy Minister of Housing and Urban Development and Khadeeja Naseem as Environment and Climate Advisor at the Ministry of Environment.
