President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has proposed 8 officials as Heads of Diplomatic Missions for approval by Parliament of Maldives.
The nominated officials include Hassan Sobir as Ambassador to Belgium and Ambassador to the European Union, Aishath Mohamed Didi as Ambassador to India, Dr. Abdulla Mausoom as Ambassador to Singapore, Ahmed Latheef as Ambassador to Germany and Dr. Farahanaz Faizal as the Ambassador to the United Kingdom.
In addition, Thilmeeza Hussain was nominated as the Permanent Representative at the United Nations and the Ambassador to the US, Visam Ali as the Ambassador to Malaysia and Omar Abdul Razzak as the Ambassador to Sri Lanka.
