Minister of Economic Development Fayyaz Ismail has revealed plans of the government to form an organisation for women entrepreneurs.
Speaking to PSM News, Economic Minister Fayyaz Ismail assured the government will cooperate to establish an organisation for women entrepreneurs. The minister said the organisation will consist of women entrepreneurs and business organisations, adding such an organisation will work to enhance the presence of women in businesses.
The government is exerting major efforts to enhance small and medium sized enterprises. In this regard, the economic minister met with women in businesses and inquired about the challenges faced by them and assured to work to solve the issues.
