United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has stated collective effort from all the sectors is crucial to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Speaking to PSM News at the function held to showcase the products of Make My Island project, Assistant Resident Representative of UNDP in Maldives Nasheeth Thaha revealed the SDGs cannot be achieved only with the efforts of the government and the United Nations. SDGs can be achieved with the assistance from private sector and individuals as well, added Thaha.
Make My Island is a unique initiative inviting partners to invest and work together with UNDP to provide sustainable development solutions for Maldivian communities. During the function held at Hotel Jen, the products of the platform were showcased.
