Defence Minister monitors the construction of SIFCO flats

Minister of Defence Mariya Ahmed Didi has assessed the construction of SIFCO flats developed in Hulhumale' for military personnel.

During the visit to the construction site of the three SIFCO towers, the defence minister inquired about the design of the flats and the progress of the construction. The flats are designed to accommodate 3-bedroom luxury apartments. A large percentage of construction of the flats have now been completed.

The defence minister was accompanied by Chief of Defence Force Major General Abdulla Shamaal and Vice Chief of Defence Force Brigadier General Abdul Raheem Abdul Latheef.

Island Expert Private Limited was contracted the project in 2016, following the failure of the initial company which was contracted the project back in 2013.
