Shameem appointed as Deputy Managing Director of PSM

Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has appointed Mohamed Shameem as the Deputy Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM).

The appointment by PCB was made upon the advisory of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. Mohamed Shameem worked in Television Maldives (TVM) for a number of years, before joining VTV. While Shameem was appointed the deputy managing director, PCB had previously appointed Ali Khalid as the Managing Director of the state media company.

The governing board of PSM consists of five members. However, one slot still needs to be filled for PSM to have a complete governing board.
