President attends the retirement match of Imran Mohamed

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has attended the retirement match of Imran Mohamed, Goalkeeper of the Maldives National Football Team.

Prior to the match held at National stadium, President Solih presented a plaque of appreciation to Imran Mohamed for his outstanding performance as goalkeeper of the Maldives National Football Team. During the event Imran Mohamed also presented the president with a glove used by him as a tribute.

Imran Mohamed started his career in football in the year 1999. During his 19-year career, he spent 17 years playing in the Maldives National Football Team. His greatest achievement was to play in the Maldivian National Football Team when Maldives won the SAFF Championship in 2008.
