The national carrier, Maldivian, has revealed plans to provide inflight snacks for passengers.
Managing Director of Island Aviation Services Limited Mohamed Rizvee stated several surveys are being held to identify the possibilities and best practices to provide inflight snacks. In this regard, Rizvee said efforts are underway to identify the types of snacks. He added the domestic airfare will not change, even though snacks are provided on the flights. He expressed hope to commence the services within the next six months.
Island Aviation has decreased domestic airfare by 25-30%, which would be implemented on January 10.
