Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has appointed Ibrahim Hilmy as the chairman of Public Service Media (PSM). He was the vice chairman of the first board of PSM formed in 2015.
In addition, PCB appointed Mariyam Waheedha as a member of the board. She previously had served as a board member of Maldives National Broadcasting Corporation (MNBC) formed during the presidency of President Mohamed Nasheed to operate the state media.
Following the new appointments, the PSM board now consists of Ibrahim Hilmy as the chairman, Ali Khalid as the managing director, Mohamed Shameem as the deputy managing director and Mariyam Waheedha as a board member.
