President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has decided to change some institutions operated under National Social Protection Agency (NSPA) to Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services.
In this regard, children shelters Fiyavathi in Hulhumale', Kudakudhinge Hiyaa in Vilingili and Amaan Hiyaa in Thinadhoo will now be managed under gender ministry. In addition, President Solih also shifted family and children centres operated under NSPA to Gender Ministry.
The changes were made effective from January 2 onwards.
