Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives Abdulla Shahid has met with acting Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Distribution Eng. Saeed Mabarak Al-Rashdi.
During the meeting held in Abu Dhabi as part of the official visit to UAE, Minister Shahid discussed on the means of increasing trade ties and avenues of investment in the Maldives by ADNOC. He was accompanied at the meeting by a delegation from State Trade Organisation (STO).
The foreign minister is part of the delegation accompanying President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on his official trip to UAE on invitation from Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of Armed Forces of UAE Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
