Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives Abdulla Shahid has met with Advisor at the Office of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting with Dr. Jaber Bittar, the foreign minister held discussions on areas of mutual interest of the two countries and explored opportunities for greater cooperation by UAE in the developmental projects in Maldives. The minister was accompanied at the meeting by Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of State Trading Organisation (STO) Hussain Amru.
The foreign minister is part of the delegation accompanying President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on his official trip to UAE on invitation from Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of Armed Forces of UAE Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
