President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has met with Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
During the meeting, both leaders discussed on enhancing relations between the countries. Moreover, President Solih and Sheikh Al Maktoum expressed interest to work together to further enhance ties.
Maldives and UAE have signed various agreements of collaborations. Both countries expect the relationship to reach new heights as a result of the agreements.
President Solih is making the visit to UAE on invitation from Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of Armed Forces of UAE Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to attend the Zayed Sustainability Awards Ceremony and the Inauguration of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
