Pakistan donates iPads to Autism Association of Maldives

Pakistan Embassy in Maldives has donated 10 iPads to the Autism Association of Maldives. The iPads were gifted by Pakistan Ambassador to Maldives Vice Admiral (Rtd.) Waseem Akram at a ceremony held at autism centre in Hulhumale'.

During the ceremony, the Pakistani ambassador expressed readiness to assist Maldives in all avenues. Meanwhile, Programme Director at the autism centre Shafeena Saeed said the Pakistan Embassy attaches close ties with the centre, adding the iPads will ease the services provided to the children. She further highlighted Pakistan Embassy gifted laptops to the centre last year.

The autism centre in Hulhumale' is the only facility in Maldives which provides therapy to autistic children. Over 100 children seek therapy from the centre.
