Maldives and Switzerland hope bilateral ties and cooperation will be further strengthened

Maldives and Switzerland have expressed hope the bilateral ties and cooperation between both countries will be further strengthened. The statement was made during the courtesy call by the newly appointed Ambassador of Switzerland to Maldives Hanspeter Mock on Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid.

At the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mock assured his commitment to working with the government of Maldives in strengthening the relations between the two countries and reflected on his plans to deepen cooperation between the two countries on areas of mutual interest.

Meanwhile, Minister Abdulla Shahid congratulated Ambassador Mock on his appointment as the Ambassador of Switzerland to Maldives.
