President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have participated in the TfG marathon in Laamu Atoll. The president and the first lady participated in the 5 kilometre run of the marathon.
Along with the president and the first lady, a huge number of runners participated in the event. In this regard, Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof and over 200 runners ran in the 5 kilometre run, while the whole run was participated by over 500 runners.
The run was held on the link road connecting Gan, Maandhoo, Kahdhoo and Fonadhoo. The run consisted of a 5 kilometre run, a 10 kilometre run, a half marathon and a marathon.
