Supreme Court mentioned the order comes following the request of the state to order the authorities against acting upon the High Court ruling. The state requested the Supreme Court to rule the High Court decision is invalid.
Following the request, the Supreme Court ruled to order the authorities to hold implementing the High Court ruling until the Supreme Court concludes its stand on the verdict.
Former Vice President Adeeb, serving 33-years in prison for terrorism and corruption charges, was transferred to house arrest late Monday evening, following the High Court order.
