Asset Recovery Commission seeking technical and administrative staff

Presidential Commission on Corruption and Asset Recovery has announced to seek technical and administrative staff to assist the institution in its investigations.

The positions the presidential commission is seeking staff are senior investigator, forensic accountants and legal and administrative staff who will assist in the ongoing investigations. Furthermore, the commission is also seeking a Director General, who will oversee all the administrative tasks and a senior administrative assistant, who will assist in all the administrative tasks.

The staff will be paid between USD 839 and USD 1,678 as salary and allowances, according to the President's Office. The administration has previously revealed members appointed to presidential commissions and committees established by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will not be allocated a salary, but rather an allowance.

President Solih established two presidential commissions on his first day in office. Several committees were also formed, in his first two months in office, mandated to conduct some major tasks.

Presidential Commission on Corruption and State Asset Recovery was established to recuperate the lost asset of the state from January 1, 2012 till November 17, 2018 and to ensure that all responsible authorities carryout their legal duties in investigating the corruption and abuse of power within state institutions.
