Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Aishath Nahula has stated it is important to know first aid skills to minimise the loss of lives in fatal road accidents.
Speaking at the event held to create awareness on road safety and minimise road accidents, the transport minister urged the public to prioritise safety instead of speeding and endangering the lives of others.
During the event, Speaker of Parliament Qasim Ibrahim, cabinet ministers and other government officials crossed Sina-Male' Bridge and arrived at Central Park in Hulhumale' in an attempt to deliver road safety messages to the public.
