Maldives Third-way Democrats (MTD) has opened opportunity for interested individuals to contest in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
A tweet posted by MTD stated interested individuals can submit their applications before February 9. MTD has asked to forward the applications to its head office before the deadline, adding the forms will be available from its office.
While MTD has opened for interested individuals to express interest to run for parliament seats, many political parties have designated the contestants and the constituencies.
The parliamentary elections is scheduled to be held on April 6.
