Maldivian Development Alliance (MDA) has granted party tickets to 8 individuals to compete in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The party tickets were handed over to contestants by party leader Ahmed Siyam at a party council meeting. Deputy Leader Ali Mauroof handed the ticket to the party leader. During the council meeting, Siyam appealed members who get elected to parliament to serve the country with honesty.
The parliamentary elections is scheduled to be held on April 6.
