School managements urged to remain unbiased

Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Ali has urged school principals and the senior management to remain unbiased in providing students with education opportunities.

Speaking at the ceremony held to inaugurate the School Heads' Conference 2019, Education Minister Aishath Ali highlighted the important roles played by the heads of schools in shaping the future of the students. Noting it is an exciting time for the education sector, as the administration has promised unprecedented changes to the sector, Minister Aishath Ali expressed the scope of the heads of school will be widened in the coming days.

Moreover, the education minister advised to remain unbiased and assist in exploring the capabilities of each student. She also highlighted the importance of communicating and maintaining a good relationship with the parents.

The theme for the School Heads' Conference 2019 is School Leader: Inspiring Transformational Changes. The two-day conference is attended by 250 heads of schools. The aim of the symposium is to provide a common platform for heads of schools to discuss and further improve the education sector.
