President meets Landhoo Island Council

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has met with council members of Landhoo Island Council in Noonu Atoll.

At the meeting held at the President’s Office, members of the council briefed the president on the current status of the island and the most urgent needs of the island’s residents. In this regard, the council members especially noted the challenges faced to the people of the island due to harbour difficulties and also shed light on the need for a modern mosque in the island.

During the meeting, President Solih stated the government would take necessary action after discussing with the relevant ministries and tackle the problems as soon as possible. He further noted the projects listed in the budget would soon commence.
