Chief of Defence Force Major General Abdulla Shamaal has revealed the military force will uphold and maintain values of the country.
The chief of defence force made the remarks at the ceremony held to provide military personnel with strategic priorities of Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF).
Addressing the ceremony, Chief of Defence Force Shamaal reiterated the vow of the military force, adding the force will stand by their vows even if it meant making sacrifices. Major General Shamaal also highlighted on the efforts exerted to enhance the welfare services of the military forces. Moreover, he spoke on reforming and development of MNDF in efforts to enhance operational capacity and to develop as a professional well equipped force.
The chief of defence force went on to note the relationship between the general public and the duty mandated upon military personal.
