Vice President Faisal Naseem has officially launched a road development project in Hulhumeedhoo in Addu City.
The government contracted the project to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) on March 27. Under the agreement, MTCC will construct and develop an area of 1,810 square metres, including the installation of a storm water management system, supply and installation of 92 LED street lights, construction of speed breakers and road markings.
The project which estimated to cost over USD 2 million must be completed within 8 months.
