Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure forecasts the National Development Plan drafted for the next five years would be completed by the month of May.
Currently, the planning ministry is seeking counsel from various parties in order to formulate this draft. In this regard, the ministry has also held discussions with civil society representatives.
At the workshop held to formulate the National Development Plan, the ministry sought the opinion of the civil society and other stakeholders on the development of five key areas. The ministry also sought the opinion of civil society and other stakeholders on how tourism, agriculture and the financial sector can be enhanced, in addition to their opinion on economic changes, strengthening the legal sector and on national security.
