Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has opened 14 new passenger counters at the International Departure Terminal in Velana International Airport (VIA). The counters were officially inaugurated by Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed.
Speaking at the ceremony, Tourism Minister Ali Waheed said although several counters were established, services will only be strengthened if it is provided efficiently. He noted no matter how the customer responds, the customer services should respond well.
Meanwhile, acting Managing Director of MACL Moosa Solih stated the counters will swift the process in checking-in travellers. He described the counters as an enhancement to the main gateway of Maldives.
